Artists’ Union of Armenia transfers 4 million AMD to Artsakh
The exhibition-sale at the Artists’ Union of Armenia which aimed to donate the funds to Artsakh, closed with a total revenue of 4 million AMD received from the sale of 9 art works, Chairman of Artists’ Union of Armenia Karen Adamyan told Panorama.
Adamyan informed that, as planned, the gathered funds will be donated to Artsakh.
Though the exhibition is closed, they Union would come up with another call to continue the initiative in another format, Adamyan noted.
To remind, an exhibition-sale at the Artists’ Union of Armenia opened on April 12 featuring the 80 best works by the artists of the 1960-80s stored in the archives of the Union. The initiative had the aim of helping Artsakh people suffered from the military operations unleashed by Azerbaijan in early April.
