Night of Museums – when ‘violations’ are acceptable
Through the recent years the number of visits during the ‘Night of Museums’ has increased, head of the ICOMOS-Armenia NGO and "Erebuni" Historical & Archaeological Museum-Reserve, Gagik Gyurjyan told the journalists during a press conference.
“Daily plan of the museums is violated during that night. On the regular days you cannot allow visitors after 5-6pm. Events are organized which are not typical of the museums, but on that day violations of the rules are allowed,” Gyurjyan said.
As for the visits to the capital from the provinces, Gyurjyan noted that due to communication and information access, their number has also increased.
