Armenia IT Forum to be held in Silicon Valley
For the first time Armenia IT Forum will be held on June 10, 2016 in Silicon Valley, in the framework of ArmTech. The forum will be focused on empowering Armenian tech companies to succeed in global markets.
RA Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan told reporters that the promotion of Armenian startups will be in the focus of the forum.
It will further identify opportunities for cross border collaboration and investment, encourage networking, knowledge exchange and strengthening of business links among Armenian, Diaspora and global tech communities.
The agenda features keynote speakers from the tech sector, investor circles, and academia.
Tarasyan informed that five startups are to be represented at the forum, which is to take place in Synopsis Armenia.
As in previous years, this time as well number of memorandums is planed to be signed to realize new projects in Armenia for the future.
The forum is implemented in the framework of ArmTech by the RA government, World Bank Group, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, Small Enterprise Assistance Funds, and Synopsis Armenia. Microsoft, IBM, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Piscart, Union of employers of Information and Communication Technologies and Union of Information Technology Enterprises act as partners to the forum.
