‘Urban Sculpture-2016’ project to be held in October
‘Urban Sculpture-2016’ project coordinator, sculptor Nune Tumanyan told Panorama.am that they’ll present new projects to art lovers and those interested in Yerevan’s features in autumn, as the exhibition is planned to be held in October..
“It will be great if those who weren’t able to join us last year participate this time. An increase in the number of participants will make the exhibition even more interesting. Each of the artists has their own approach, their stylistic peculiarities and their message. There are no limits for the style of the designs,” she noted that neither memorial designs, nor sculptures of certain characters or figures will be included in the project.
“The freedom and diversity of mind are encouraged bearing in mind that the sculptures are designed for the urban environment. I have a desire to present our talented sculptors to the art lovers,” Nune Tumanyan said.
The exhibition will feature works designed for the urban environment. Before being displayed, the works will be selected by the commission.
It should be noted that the project was first carried out in 2015.
