There are more opportunities nowadays, film critic says
The Cinematography program of ‘Art Fest-2016’ launched on June 6 at ‘Moscow’ cinema. The International Youth Festival will feature 54 films, 32 submitted from Armenia, 22 from abroad.
Student of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, Mane told the journalist that it’s the first time she’s participating in the festival with a short documentary.
During the opening ceremony film critic Davit Muradyan noted that there were times they didn’t have any opportunities. “We had two choices either to get mean or to find strength to represent ourselves. There are more opportunities nowadays”.

To remind, ‘Art Fest-2016’ International Youth Festival dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the RA independence launched on June 2. The festival mainly aims to discover talented youth. Over 430 artists from Armenia and abroad participate in the festival.
Since 2013, Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography in cooperation with Student Theatre and the Union of Young Creatives and with the help of the Ministry of Culture and Yerevan Municipality has been organizing annual “Art Fest” open youth festival titled “Under One Roof”. Highlighting the culture-creating potential and the importance of self-expression of young artists “Art Fest” festival embraces under one roof creative people from the following art forms: Performing Arts, Cinematography, Music, Fine Arts (painting, sculpture, graphics, photography), Design, Decorative Applied Art, Clothing Design.
