Bread, flour, groats, pasta production decreased in Armenia
94.4 thousand tones of bread were produced during January-April in 2016, which is 2% less as compared to the production volume of the indicated period of the year 2015, National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (NSSA) reports.
For the indicated period flour production decreased by 20.7%, constituting 49.2 thousand tones, while confectionery production decreased by 19% constituting 4 587.9 thousand tones ones.
According to data, released by NSS, pasta production decreased 3.2% for the period of January-April. 938.3 thousand tones of pasta were produced this year as compared to 969.6 thousand tone of the previous year.
Groats production level decreased by 28 % this year, constituting 205.3 thousand tones of groats.
