Free educational programs at Vanadzor Technological Centre
The construction of Vanadzor Technological Centre has been underway since August 2015. Initiator of the project is Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF). The project implementation is supported by the RA Government and the World Bank.
It’s already been a year, since free educational programs are being carried out in the centre conditioned by the need of human resources in the rapidly developing technological sector of Vanadzor and in the region. Until the building is ready, the classes are being carried out in the building of Vanadzor branch of State Engineering University of Armenia (Polytechnic).
During 2016, 56 professional courses for students, graduates, professionals have been organized.
About 1000 people attended courses in web and mobile programming (Java, PHP, HTML, data base), computer engineering (Lab View, logic synthesis, digital design, digital simulation, digital signal processing), algorithm theories, C#, .net, C Fundamentals, Objective C, discrete mathematics, Business English etc.
“Technology companies and branches from different cities of Armenia and abroad will be operating at the centre. Currently, several companies are implementing targeted training programs. Those who successfully finish the courses will be granted by job opportunities,” business development consultant of the VTC, Patvakan Hakhinyan told Panorama.am.
