EEU establishes ties with African integration association
Works on the establishment of ties between the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and the African integration associations have launched, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Mikhail Bogdanov stated during international economic forum held in St. Petersburg, reports RIA Novosti.
According to him, “the works of cooperation establishment” between EEU and African integration associations, such as the African Union, the Southern African Development Community, East African Community and Southern African Customs Union have begun.
Mikhail Bogdanov noted that during the recent years a considerable activation of Russian-African relationships has been noticed.
“We believe that the Russian-African cooperation has long-term perspectives,” the deputy minister noted.
