‘Koala’ Festival for Pregnant Women and Kids to be held in Yerevan
The first "Koala" Festival for Pregnant Women and Kids will be organized in Yerevan on June 18-19, said founder of ‘Indigo’ children’s club, Irina Pahlevanyan during a press conference.
“The Festival aims at protecting the health of pregnant women and children, as well as supporting new families. We’re grateful that other organizations joined us, and the festival was welcomed,” she added.
Irina Pahlevanyan also said that specialists, doctors will volunteer in the festival. They will provide the young parents with advice on bringing up healthy children.
The partner of the festival is UNICEF.
Head of Communication Programs, Zara Sargsyan said that the festival is an alternative information source for Armenian mothers. “This is an exceptional chance for mothers to visit and speak to doctors concerning child care and nutrition, get to know problems of malnutrition, etc.”
The Festival will be held at RA Artists Union with free admission.
