President Sargsyan on trilateral summit over Karabakh: I expect to finally come to an arrangement
“The past few years have showed that the negotiation process might be efficient more or less if the parties remained committed to taken obligations. That is to say, they [parties] synchronize their actions with provisions of the 1994 and 1995 ceasefire agreements”, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan told reporters at Saint Petersburg airport, where he arrived in on a working visit.
President Sargsyan’s comments came when asked what his expectations were ahead of the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“The statement of Co-chairmen on May 16 in Vienna was exactly about that. I expect we will finally come to an arrangement in Saint Petersburg, and Azerbaijani will meet its commitments, - no violations will occur on the borders, and we will continue the negotiation process toward a good end of the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” Sargsyan stated.
