Cast of ‘Last Inhabitant’ to arrive from different countries for movie’s premiere
Jivan Avetisyan’s “The Last Inhabitant” will premiere within the framework of “Armenian Panorama” program of the 13th Golden Apricot Festival in Armenia. The cast features not only Armenian, but also foreign actors who will be present during the premiere, the official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/TheLastInhabitant/posts/1408242116150001 of the movie informs.
Homayoun Erdashi, who embodies Ibrahim in the movie, will arrive from Iran. The actor is famous for his role in Abas Kiarostami’s “Taste of Cherry”. The movie received a ‘Palme d’Or’ award at Cannes Festival.
Actors from Iran, Lithuania, Greece, USA, Russia and Armenia took part in the production of “The Last Inhabitant”.
The movie is based on Tsovinar Khachatryan’s short story “Gyurjevan’s Last Inhabitant”. Masis Baghdasaryan is the co-writer of the script. Music, performed by Hover Chamber Choir and the National Philharmonic Orchestra is written by Serj Tankian. “The Last Inhabitant” was filmed in Khachmach village, Artsakh.
