New NYC monument will honor victims of Pulse nightclub massacre
New York City will pitch in $1 million towards the monument honoring the 49 killed at the Orlando gay club, Gov. Cuomo announced Sunday, New York Daily News reports.
According to the source, the design and location of the monument will be determined by a 10-person commission of LGBT politicians, community leaders and activists, including former City Council Speaker Christine Quinn.
