Artik Municipality calls for support to compensate the considerable damage caused to residents by showers.

“People have lost their possessions. Houses and infrastructures have been damaged beyond repair. Each of us may support to recover these losses.

It should be noted that on June 24, the main streets of Artik were flooded due to clogged drainpipes. Rescue team arrived at the scene.

The water level reached 40 cm. Artik’s No. 2 kindergarten was also flooded. The rescue team managed to help 70 children and 23 employees out. The base of the bridge on Gharibjanyan str. was damaged. House no. 25 on Freedom str. was partially collapsed. Livestock died in several barns. Possessions of the residents, jewelry, cattle, etc. were covered with water.

Prime Minister, Hovik Abrahamyan arrived at the scene and promised that the government will support to compensate the damage done.
