Creating new opportunities for cooperation with China crucial for Armenia, Arsen Ghazaryan says
Active trade relationship with China is highly important for Armenian economic development, President of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UMBA), Arsen Ghazaryan said during a press conference.
He then noted that bilateral trade volumes have increased during the past few years. “Each year there is a considerable increase in trade volumes. We’re trying to export Armenian vegetables, fruits and drinks to China”.
According to Arsen Ghazaryan, creating new opportunities for cooperation with China is crucial for Armenia.
He also informed that on June 11, a solemn opening ceremony of the Armenian National Trade Exhibition was held in Ningbo, China's Zhejiang province. On June 8, UMBA and the International Chamber of Commerce of China ratified a strategic cooperation agreement.
Members of the UMBA believe that these ties will also help enhance cooperation with different countries.
