Armenian-German cooperation agenda expanding, FM Nalbandian says
The agenda of Armenian-German cooperation has expanded over the past years, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian told at a joint press conference with Foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
“Around 60 agreements have been signed and the number was added by another important document - Agreement on avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital,” Nalbandian said.
Foreign minister next reminded that German Economic Union opened in Yerevan in April.
“This is an evidence of mutual interest and broad prospects for expanding the bilateral trade and economic relations,” said the minister.
“Germany is one of the leading states of the European Union, and we discussed steps aimed at further strengthening of relations between Armenia and the European Union, and in particular, the process of negotiations over the new comprehensive agreement with the EU,” Nalbandian stressed.
