Statement on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict adopted at the session of CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers
Armenia will host the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) heads of states in October 2016, and foreign ministers of the member states arranged the draft documents ahead of the summit, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian told at a press conference after the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers session.
Nalbandian informed that issues pertaining to one of the main challenges to the international community, particularly, the struggle against international terrorism was among the agenda topics of the session.
Apart from that, statements over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the Syrian crises were adopted at the session.
To remind, today Edward Nalbandian presided over the session of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers. Foreign ministers discussed CSTO draft strategy until the year 2025. The Council discussed the developments in Afghanistan, Syria and other conflict zones, cooperation among CSTO member states on the international arena as well as Council decisions on the rotation process of representatives of the CSTO permanent bodies.
