Athlete Gor Nerkararyan wins an Olympic qualification
The Armenian Athletics Team will take part in the 31st Summer Olympics with 6 athletes, ANOC press service reports.
According to the source, at a qualifying tournament held in Ukraine, Armenia’s long jumper Gor Nerkararyan has won an Olympic qualification jumping 8m 15cm.
Prior to it athletes Amaliya Sharoyan (long jump), Levon Aghasyan (triple jump), Gayane Chiloyan (running), Diana Khubeseryan (running), Lilit Harutyunyan (hurdles) have already gained Olympic qualifications.
At this moment Armenia has 31 Summer Olympic qualifications overall.
