Lars road to operate for several hours today
The Emergency Situations Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that the Lars road will operate on July 8 from 17:30 until 20:00, while it will be closed at nighttime out of security considerations.
According to the released statement, the road will be open for all the vehicle types provided those adhere to certain rules: ban on vehicles moving in opposite directions at a same time, movement without any stop and ban on traffic movement in case of intensive precipitation.
The traffic will be closely monitored and coordinated by the patrol police, reads the statement.
