No deadline for the Control Chamber to verify abuses with recreational component of social packages
There are no specific deadlines for the Control Chamber of Armenia to check the alleged abuses with recreational component of social packages proposed to state employees, Arama Alaverdyan, Press Secretary to Armenia’s Control Chamber told Panorama.am.
“There are no specific details, and the deadlines may be extended depending on the course of the verifications,” Alaberdyan said.
He next informed that the documents to be prepared based on the verifications will serve as an interim report to be submitted to the board of the Control Chamber. Only after adoption by the board, the document may be considered as an official document.
“That is to be neither extracurricular, nor program study. The government has applied to the Control Chamber based on certain concerns regarding abuses with recreational component in social packages,” noted Alaverdyan.
To remind, earlier Armenian government approved state medium-term expenses program for 2017-2019 at its session on July 7, which aimed at improving the state financial means’ management. State medium-term expenses program will become a basis for elaborating the draft state budget for 2017. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan reflected on the cases of abuses in the recreational component of social package, asking the competent state bodies to supplement the component in the relative legislation to minimize possible abuses.
