Serviceman Hovhannes heavily injured in Artsakh now walking and joking
Hovhannes Poghosyan, who sustained heavy injury in Artsakh in May 13, is trying to make his first steps after the surgery, Gayane Asatryan, mother of the soldier told Panorama.am.
“Hovhannes still is unable to move his right side, yet the doctors ensure that is a matter of time,” Mrs. Gayane said, adding the progress in his condition is due to the course of massages.
“He has taken the course of massages and exercise therapy for 2-3 hours daily to revive dead cells,” the soldier’s mother said, adding the care and attention of the medical personnel positively impacts the soldier’s health condition: “Hovhannes is a facetious guy and often jokes with doctors.”
Apart from that, speech therapist is working with Hovhannes. the soldier tried to pronounce words10-15 days ago, today he delivers full statements.
“I see positive changes every day. My son miraculously survived, and I am sure he will walk on his own to our house.” Gayane Asatryan said.
To remind, serviceman Hovhannes Poghosyan received gunshot wound on the brain in Artsakh, underwent surgery in Martakert and later was transferred to Yerevan.
