Earthquake also felt in fields, Agarak resident says
A 4.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Armenian-Georgian border today, July 12 at 2:14pm local time, MES rescue service reports.
According to the source, the epicenter was in Georgia, yet the earthquake was also felt in the Armenian territory. Resident of Agarak village, Lori province, told Panorama.am that they felt the earthquake in the village.
“It was so strong that even my husband and son, who were working in the field, felt the earthquake. Everything was shaking, even the plates on the table. We’re very scared,” she said.
