Kindergartens closed because of Alaverdi copper plant
Number one issue in Alaverdi during the recent days has been the closing of 6 kindergartens of the city, which caused an outrage among the residents.
According to the press service of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Alaverdi residents asked them to support solving the problem, which caused them a lot of trouble.
The residents say the reason for closing the kindergartens is that the city didn’t receive the money the copper plant owed as a sustainable fee, which is why the funding for kindergartens has been temporarily suspended.
According to the source, BHK president, Naira Zohrabyan and other members of the faction promised them to support and present the problem in the government.
