Russian Border Patrol servicemen enhance control across Armenian-Turkish border
Servicemen of Border Guard Department of Russian Security Service deployed in Armenia have enhanced the control across the Armenian-Turkish border, press service of the Russian Border Guard Department in Armenia informed “Armenpress” agency.
According to the source, Russian servicemen of border guard jointly with Armenian forces patrol Armenia's frontiers with Turkey and Iran, as well as serve in Zvartnots airport.
The coup attempt in Turkey was reportedly suppressed by early Saturday, with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim stating that all coup supporters have been detained and the country is returning to normal life.
Over 180 were killed and 1470 were injured during the events, while nearly 3,000 people have been detained, according to the prime minister.
