Armenian Cadet wrestlers conquer 3 medals at European Championship
The Cadet European Championship has kicked off at Stockholm, Sweden, Armenian National Olympic Committee (ANOC) reports, adding on the first competition day freestyle wrestlers started the struggle.
According to the source, Armenia's team members Arakel Movsesyan (42kg) and Mher Markosyan (85kg) became bronze medalists and Vazgen Tevanyan (58kg) lost the final bout to Russia's Ali Sheriyev and captured silver.
Harutyun Manukyan at 50 kg was also close to a bronze medal but lost 1:2 to an Azerbaijani athlete in a tough fight.
On July 20th wrestlers of 46kg, 54kg, 63kg, 76kg and 100kg weight class will fight on the mat.
