Several people injured in clashes between citizens and the police forces
Number of citizens and police officers sustained injures during clashes at Khorenati Street near the sized police regiment. Deputy Chief of Armenian Police Samvel Hovhannisyan has confirmed police officers were injured, without going into details.
To remind, a violent clash occurred between police forces through using stone from the both sides. In trying to disperse the crowd, the police used tear gas.
The ministry of healthcare hasn’t immediately provided data about the injured people.
After the clashes, citizens concentrated at Tigran Mets Avenue, blocked it by trash containers used as barricades and allow only ambulances to pass after checking inside.
The traffic on Tigran Mets avenue is disrupted.
