Arman Andreasyan triumphed over Azerbaijani athlete and became European Champion
The European Championship in underway in Stockholm, Sweden. On the second competition day wrestlers of 46kg, 54kg, 63kg, 76kg and 100kg weight class fought on the mat.
As the press service of the Armenian Wrestling Federation reports, Arman Andreasyan (63 kg) in a stiff fight won the final bout against Azerbaijani athlete Inal Zhopua with a score 4(cat) and was declared European Champion.
Razmik Papikyan (46 kg) lost 0:6 to Russian athlete Alik Khadarcev and conquered silver medal. 2015 European Champion Arsen Harutyunyan (54 kg) lost to Greece’s opponent and won a silver medal.
Thus, Armenia's freestyle cadet wrestling team won 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medal at the
Armenia Greco-Roman team will start the struggle on July 23-24.
