Henrikh Mkhitaryan scores first goal for Man United against Borussia Dortmund
Henrikh Mkhitaryan found the net for the first time since joining Manchester United and it came against his former club Borussia Dortmund, Metro reported.
According to the source, as part of their pre-season tour of China, both teams met in the Shanghai Stadium for the high-profile International Champions Cup pre-season friendly.
Gonzalo Castro opened the scoring after United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone failed to deal with a Dortmund attack in the 19th minute, a goal which was quickly followed by a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang which came courtesy of a handball from Antonio Valencia.
Feeling slightly more optimistic in the second half, Ousmane Dembele added a third in the 57th minute before Mkhitaryan pulled on back two minutes later.
