Iran Defense Ministry: Iran-United States relations remind that of a lamb and a wolf
Iran initially didn’t trust the United States of America, Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran Islamic State, Hossein Dehghan told FARS news agency.
Referring to the implementation of the nuclear agreement, the Minister noted that Iran didn’t trust the U.S.. “Iran will never abandon its intention of increasing its internal capacity, because as long as there’s the threat of violence we believe we need to get stronger”.
Hossein Dehghan also addressed the issues of oil sales. “Before the agreement, once in every 6 months, the 20% of oil sales would be blocked. Those who once imposed sanctions against us, now buy oil from us. There are problems concerning money transfer, yet it’s not connected with the nuclear agreement”.
Concerning the Iran-U.S. relations, the Minister said that they remind those of a lamb and a wolf.
“The U.S. is a demon. Is it really possible to deal with one?” Hossein Dehghan said.
