NKR Defense Army: The adversary applied mortars on the Line of Contact
On the night of July 28-29 the adversary violated the ceasefire agreement using not only weapons of different calibers but also firing 60 mm mortars (2 shells) on the eastern direction (Akna) of the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
As the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army reports, for the indicated period, overall, the Azerbaijani forces fired 600 shots toward the Karabakh frontline units.
In the result of the adversary’s actions, Karabakh forces suffered no losses.
The statement reads that the advanced detachments of Nagorno Karabakh forces refrained from response actions and retaliated only in case of an urgent necessity. The Armenian units continued to confidently control the situation along the whole Line of Contact.
