FM Nalbandian: Armenia values development of relations with Georgia
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, met with Georgia’s Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze, press department of the RA Foreign Ministry reports.
At the meeting, Mikheil Janelidze stressed that Minister Nalbandian’s visit to Georgia is a significant event, allowing to continue the dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
Minister Nalbandian on his part highlighted that Armenia values the development of relations with Georgia in all available spheres.
According to the source, the parties discussed broad range of issues pertaining to Armenian-Georgian agenda, enhancement of the legal field, cooperation in international structures, facilitation of transport routes, cooperation on energy and culture spheres, issues related to the demarcation of the Armenian-Georgian border among them.
The ministers also commended the intensive visits and efficient cooperation between the two ministries.
Minister Nalbandian presented Armenia’s and the OSCE Minsk group efforts to move forward the negotiation process aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh issue.
