Last tribute paid to 30-year-old police officer
30-year-old police officer Yura Tepanosyan, who was fatally shot while being on-duty near the seized patrol police regiment, was paid a final tribute and buried at Yerevan Central Cemetery.
«He was carrying a cross embellished with black stones, that served as a talisman. I gifted that to him to ensure nothing would happen to him. He was too kind and almost never killed a fly. He graduated from the Law Department this year and expected promotion to higher rank and salary rise. He was happy, ensuring he would be able to care more for his children,” Yura’s grandma was telling, adding all the goals and dreams of her grandson were linked to the future of his family and children.
“His elder daughter is a dancer and he was encouraging her passion about dances. The second daughter is 3-year-old, the son is six-month-old. He was going to celebrate his 30th birthday on October 17,” the grandma recalled.
As the Armenian Police had reported earlier, police officer Yura Tepanosyan was killed by a sniper shot released from the patrol police regiment on June 30.
Born in 1986 in Yerevan, Tepanosyan has served in the RA Police Forces since 2011.
