Armenia received humanitarian aid worth US $25 million in January-June
According to the custom declarations data provided by the State Customs Committee under RA Government for the period of January-June 2016, 1 508.7 tones of goods were imported into Armenia as a humanitarian aid with total value of 11,896.3 milliard AMD or $24,962.8 million.
According to data released by Armenia’s National Statistical Service (NSS), 60.3% of the received aid comprised products of chemical and related industries, 12.8% - articles of textile, 16.7% - different industrial products, 4.1% - plaster, stone and cement items, 4.1% - machinery and equipment, 12.0% - other goods.
For the period of January-June, 2016, the US share of the provided humanitarian aid to Armenia has comprised17.8%, 24.8% came from the EU countries, 23.5% – from Switzerland, 7.4% - from Japan and 8.2% - China.
