2016-17 UEFA Futsal Cup to be held in Armenia
Armenia will host the pre-round of the UEFA Futsal Cup 2016-17 for the first time. Double champion of Armenian Futsal, Armenian State University of Economics team will represent our country during the A group matches to be held on August 16-21 at the Armenian Football Academy.
The Youth Foundation of Armenia informs that in this round, the opponents of the Armenian team will be APOEL (Cyprus), Futsal Maniacs (Switzerland) and Gentofte (Denmark). All the participants are the current champions of their countries and are among the leaders of the world futsal rating list.
Armenia got the right to hold the matches due to the cooperation between ASUE and FFA. The Youth Foundation of Armenia and the Student Council of ASUE support the organization of the event.
