Two people arrested for obstruction of journalists’ activities
RA Special Investigation Service informs that the court decided to use arrest as a preventive measure against Vladimir M. and Seyran K. for prevention of journalists’ professional legal actions and hooliganism on the night of July 29-30 at Sari Tagh neighbourhood of Yerevan.
According to the SIS press service, the investigator presented a motion to choose arrest as a preventive measure against the perpetrators on August 11.
RA SIS will continue the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, initiated under the features of part 1 of Article 308 (abuse of official position), part 2 of Article 309 (failure of official position coupled with assault) and Article164 (prevention of journalists professional legal actions) on the incidents of Sari Tagh neighbourhood of Yerevan on the night of July 29-30.
The RA Special Investigative Service will provide additional information on the case.
