Armenia’s representative takes the second place at "New Wave 2016” junior song contest
Armenian delegate in "New Wave 2016” junior contest Misha (MIkayel Grigoryan) has taken the second place after the final counting of the jury vote.
As the press department of the First Channel reports, Misha received maximum 11 points from 7 out of 8 members of jury –with total 87 points on each of the two days of the contest. The source reports that Misha Misha performed “Young Karabaghtsi” and International hit “Uptown Funk” songs during the contest.
In his final speech of gratitude Misha invited all to his motherland, “I invited all of them to Armenia and Artsakh to get familiarized with our culture,” the First Channel quotes the young singer as saying who added that he spent a wonderful and unforgettable time in the contest making new friends.
Lira Kocharyan, the founder and director at the “Artsakh Voices” initiative who acted as Misha’s producer, also praised the Armenian representative for his performance. “Misha was in the limelight, everybody admired him, when learning he was the youngest participant of the contest,” Kocharyan stressed, adding that apart from the recognition and the prizing place, they received number of offers for cooperation.
