Rio 2016: Wrestler Mihran Harutyunyan named Olympic Vice Champion
Armenia's representative at the 31st Summer Olympic Games, Greco-Roman wrestler Mihran Harutyunyan was declared Olympic Vice Champion.
In the final Harutyunyan faced world former champion Serbia’s Davor Shtefanek. The fight ended 1-1, however, since Serb athlete scored last, he apparently won the champion title.
To remind, Harutyunyan's opponent in the first fight was Egypt's Saleh Kahk. The Armenian wrestler managed an absolute victory (9-0) over the opponent. In the second fight Harutyunyan won Korean Hansu Ryu 2:1 and continued the struggle in the semifinals where he defeated Azerbaijani Rasul Chunayev.
