Two more people detained for obstructing the journalists' professional activity n Sari Tagh incident
Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia continues the proceedings of the incident on 29 July night of 30 in Sari Tagh neighborhood of Yerevan in the scope of the criminal case instituted under t part 1 of Article 308 (abuse of official position), part 2 of Article 309 (failure of official position coupled with assault) and Article164 (prevention of journalists professional legal actions).
According to the statement, released by the Special Investigation Service, as a result of undertaken measures citizens D.K and G.A for having committed an apparent crime, including obstructing professional legal activities of the journalists.
To remind earlier, Vladimir M. and Seyran K were accused of having prevented the journalists' professional legal actions and committed group hooliganism during the incidents. Detention as a precautionary measure had been adopted against them.
Thus, in the scope of the criminal investigation into the incident occurred in Sari Tagh neighborhood, criminal proceedings have been launched against four people.
The Special Investigation Service next informs that along with other law enforcement agencies it continues taking necessary steps to reveal the circumstances of the incident, identify and detain individuals who had apparently committed the crime, using all available investigatory, procedural and operative-searching measures.
