Varuzhan Avetisyan’s and Areg Kyureghyan’s attorney to appeal to the Court of Cessation
Armenia’s Court of Appeal today rejected the motion to review the decision of Daredevils of Sassoun group members Varuzhan Avetisyan’s and Areg Kyureghyan’s detention. As their attorney Mushegh Shushanyan told reporters at a briefing, the court specifically rejected the motion to change the pre-trial measure of detention to freeing them on bail.
“Our next step will be the appeal to the Court of Cessation,” Shushanyan said.
To remind, Varuzhan Avetisyan and Areg Kyureghyan along with other members of Daredevils of Sassoun group are charged with taking hostages and illegal possession of weapons.
