Painter Peto Poghosyan to participate in international exhibition in China
Painter Peto Poghosyan has been chosen to participate in the International Watercolor Young Masters Invitational Exhibition, which will take place in Handan, China.
The painter told Panorama.am that the participants of the International Watercolor Young Masters Invitational Exhibition have been chosen through a competition. “It’s organized by the International Watercolor Society and Handan Sunshine Art Gallery. The Jury includes international and Chinese prominent aquarellists and specialists.”
According to Peto Poghosyan, 10 young painters (under 45) from abroad and 20 from China have been chosen to participate in the exhibition. All travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the organizers.
Artists from Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain (2) and Taiwan are among the participants. Each artist will present five works.
Besides the works of the participants, English watercolor masterpieces of the 19-20th centuries, Chinese classic works will also be displayed during the exhibition.
The exhibition opens October 22.
