Invisible Signs: Lilit Khachatryan's exhibition opened in Jermuk
Painter Lilit Khachatryan from Vayk, has prepared for her exhibition, which opened in Jermuk on August 29, with special enthusiasm. The impressions and comments of her compatriots are of great importance to her.
“All of my exhibitions are important for me, but I’ve prepared for this one requires more responsibility,” the painter told Panorama.am.
Khachatryan’s 20 works are featured in the exhibition entitled “Invisible Signs”. The exhibition will be open until September 10. After Jermuk, the paintings will be displayed in Vayk.
She’s been cooperating with an Italian art curator for 2 years now. During their cooperation, Khachatryan had exhibitions in the Artists’ Union of Armenia, New York Art Biennale 2015 and Zvartnots Cathedral in 2016.
The opening ceremony of Lilit Khachatryan’s exhibition in Jermuk was attended by Vayots Dzor Regional Governor Harutyun Sargsyan, Jermuk Mayor Vardan Hovhannisyan and other guests.
Harutyun Sargsyan told Panorama.am that exhibitions are regularly held in the cities of the province. “I’m particularly happy for this exhibition. Lilit is my compatriot. [The exhibited works] are wonderful. The colours of Vayots Dzor are reflected in her paintings”.
The visitors commented on the works of the painter as well, saying that those are “unique and interesting paintings”.
