China to host concert of Armenian composers
Within the framework of “Collaboration” Armenian-Chinese project, a concert of Armenian composers’ chamber works will be held on August 8-13, Composers Union of Armenian informed Panorama.am.
Deadline for submitting digitalized sheet music for their chamber pieces (for up to 4 instruments with maximum duration of 10 minutes) is set on September 12.
To remind, within the same project, a concert of Armenian-Chinese contemporary music was held at Komitas Museum Institute on July 9.
Earlier, composer Svetlana Aleksanyan told Panorama.am that the project “Collaboration” aims at expanding cultural ties with creative unions of various countries through cooperation, which will not only contribute to the promotion of Armenian music, but also enable the audience to get to know the culture of other countries.
