NSS: Tourist arrivals grow in Armenia by 2.4%
The reports and expert estimates based on the studies implemented by the National Statistical Service of Armenia (NSS) indicate that 501 118 tourists arrived in Armenia in the first six months (January- June) of this year, which is a 2.4% increase compared to the same period of the last year.
According to the same data, 470 693 people left Armenia for tourism during January- June 2016, which is a 1.2% increase compared to the same period of the last year.
As to the internal tourism, NSS reports indicate, that the number of tourists stopped at hotels within the territory of Armenia is 112 043 (RA residents), which is 20.8% increase compared to the same period of the last year.
