The singing monument and the Alley of Devotees: News on an occasion of the 90th anniversary
Public Radio of Armenia marked its 90th anniversary in a completely renovated building with a newly constructed Alley of Devotees and a park. The damaged façade of the building have been completely reconstructed and decorated with forms of the radio symbols (1900 sq. m).
Renovation works started in March. Today the journalists toured the premises of the Public radio and the adjacent territories.
Earlier a symbolic memorial by RA People’s Artist, sculptor Davit Minasyan dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Public Radio and 60th anniversary of the Armenian TV was opened.
“This monument is singing. It is singing Yerevan music which may be aired on Public Radio. A symbolic image depicts a family, TV and Radio,” Arman Saghatelyan, Executive Dirtector of the Public Radio told journalists.
