Dream of hero, who died in April war, turned into reality
A memorial plaque has been unveiled on the wall of the house no. 17 on 2nd lane of Sargsyan str., Gyumri, where tanker Tigran Abgaryan, who died during the Four Day War in April, once lived. A cross-stone dedicated to all heroes of the war and a wall dressed by Tigran’s coloured stones have also been unveiled in the yard of the hero’s house.
Since childhood, Tigran liked collecting coloured stones and wanted to build a wall from them in front of their house. Unfortunately, the wall has been built without him.
According to the administration of Shirak province, the unveiling ceremony was attended by not only officials of the administration, but also Olympic, World and European champions and vice champions, Arthur Alexanyan, Gor Minasyan, Nazik Avdalyan, members of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Tigran’s commander from NKR, other guests and schoolchildren.
The memorial plaque was unveiled by Tigran’s father and brother.
