Making any concessions is the biggest mistake, Tevan Poghosyan says
There is no option for NKR conflict settlement that’d be good for us all, National Assembly Zharangutyun (Heritage) faction member, Tevan Poghosyan told the reporters.
According to him, it’s a problem of generations. “Do we have the moral right to bring a solution for our great-grandchildren?”
Mr. Poghosyan said that Armenia currently has more opportunities to act for its own interests.
“Why don’t we create better circumstances using these opportunities and then deliver to our grandchildren? Making any concessions is the biggest mistake. We should concentrate on forming a solid backbone for the nation,” the politician said adding that at least for the Armenian side the Karabah conflict is solved by not being resolved.
Tevan Poghosyan noted that currently, any suggestion for resolution is viewed as concession adding that the issue will be resolved the day when we are powerful enough to create such mechanisms, that will make powerful countries allow us have it our way.
