No problems between Georgia, Armenia in the political arena, Maya Panjikidze says
“Both Armenia and Azerbaijan are our neighbors, and I would never say Azerbaijan is more valuable for us than Armenia. We have always maintained good relations with Armenia,” Georgia’s former Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze said at briefing with reporters.
Mrs. Panjikidze’s comments came while speaking on the nature of Armenia-Georgian relations at a remark about a predominantly Armenian perception that Georgia values the relations with Azerbaijan more.
To note Panjikidze is attending a conference “Upcoming Challenges: NATO, from Wales to Warsaw and Beyond,” underway in Yerevan.
To her words, Georgia has no problems with Armenia in the political arena, while economic relations are not well developed despite the exiting potential.
To Panjikidze words, despite Georgia’s NATO and EU aspirations and Armenia’s different integration plans, economic relations of the two states are in no way hindered.
