Meghu Armenian language contest launched
The contest “Armenian for All” is launched. It is open to all interested students of grades 3-12. This year the contest will be held on October 27.
The packages with invitations for participation have already been sent to more than 1250 schools in Armenia and Artsakh. The packages include the school application form, detailed rules of the contest, and other relevant materials, the organizers of the contest reported.
The deadline for children to pay their participation fees and register at schools is October 4, and the school application deadline is October 7.

Meghu Armenian Language Contest is created by the Ayb Educational Foundation. The contest has been held in schools of Armenia and Artsakh since 2014.
Meghu aims at generating universal interest toward the Armenian language, making this subject maximally engaging for students, developing linguistic thinking and abilities, helping students discover their potential and realize themselves, and contributing to the further development and promotion of the Armenian language.
In total, 41606 students of grades 3-12 from 1001 schools of Armenia and Artsakh participated in Meghu 2015. The contest had one winner. Besides her, 308 students showed best results. Moreover, the Ayb Educational Foundation, as the organizer of the competition, will award prizes to another 905 students at schools where there are no best results or winners.

The Kangaroo contest is held under the auspices of the RA Ministry of Education and Science in Armenia, and the NKR Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in Artsakh.
