On September 20-23, with the support of Armenia Development Fund, 7 Armenian companies will present Armenia and Artsakh as attractive tourist destinations during IFTM Top Resa-2016 international exhibition in Paris.
According to ADF press service, IFTM Top Resa is the world's biggest event of the field, where agencies involved in outgoing tourism, hotel and restaurant services providers, transportation companies and developers participate. 32 thousand entrepreneurs and professionals from 158 countries participate in this major event making it a platform for the acquisition of new agreements with European partners.
“Europe is the target market for Armenia, and direct flights to Armenia conducted by European airlines make it more attractive and competitive. Furthermore, the European tourists appreciate the ecologically clean food, existence of historical and architectural monuments. I think all of this will contribute to promoting the local tourism product in the French market,” ADF executive director, Karen Mkrtichyan said.
Created in 1978, Top Resa was originally held in Deauville and specialised in leisure travel. In 2008, it underwent a major overhaul. The IFTM Top Resa show moved to Paris and became a multi target market event for all travel types: leisure, business and event. Its products, content and tools have constantly evolved to keep pace with the rapidly changing tourism market.
