Cold fronts approaching Armenia
Cold air mass is approaching to Armenia from Scandinavia, Gagik Surenyan, head of the Meteorological Service at Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations informed.
Today, in the evening hours and at night short rain and thunderstorm are expected in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Kotayl and Gegharkunik regions of Armenia.
According to the source, intensive precipitation will cover the whole territory of the republic on September 24, hail is expected in certain places, due to the cold streams reaching Armenia.
No precipitations are expected on September 25-27 in the republic.
Temperatures will not change significantly on September 22-23. On September 24 it will drop by 9-10 degrees and by 5-7 degrees on the night of September 24-25.
