More than 50 performances in 12 Yerevan theatres within the framework High Fest
This year High Fest International Performing Arts Festival will be held on October 1-8.
Today, September 23, during a press conference President of the festival, Artur Ghukasyan informed that the 14th festival will host 250 participants and guests from 20 countries, including renowned artists, art managers, presidents of international festivals of Great Britain, USA, France, Poland, Israel, Lithuania, Germany, Czech Republic, Norway, Greece, Japan, Finland, Uzbekistan, Russia, Iran, Georgia and other countries.
“More than 50 performances are planned in 12 theatres throughout Yerevan. Theatre lovers will have the opportunity to watch dramas, music, dance performances, solo performances, puppet shows, presentations, exhibitions, as well as circus and open air performances,” Ghukasyan said.
According to the Festival President, the festival will commence with “Seven Moons” sound drama by the Ilkhom Theatre from Uzbekistan.
Armenian State Puppet Theatre, NCA Small Theatre and MIHR Theatres will also perform during the festival.
Artur Ghukasyan also informed that theatre groups from Russia have been most actively participating in the Festival during the years of its existence.
HIGH FEST International Performing Arts Festival was established in 2003. It is organized by Armenian Actors Union NGO.
